Japanese automaker Honda has confirmed the launch of its luxury sedan in the country by the end of 2016. Honda India head, Yochiro Ueno has signalled the Accord's launch in October. Reports suggest that the company will launch its premium saloon by this Diwali.
Honda Car dealerships have started to book the new Accord for a payment of Rs 51,000. We can expect the new car will only available as a hybrid which will help Honda to price the car more aggressively.
Hybrid Accord will be powered by a 2.0-litre petrol engine and an electric motor. Both combined produces around 215bhp and a fuel economy of about 20 kmpl. The success of this premium sedan will depend on upon the price tag given by Honda for the Indian market.
The price of this new extremely stunning premium sedan will be between Rs 25 and 30 lakh.
