The New Honda Accord is launched and is ready for bookings from February 25 in Thailand. This means India can expect this beauty anytime this year.
The Thailand subsidiary announced it through social media though not much of the technical aspect was revealed. We expect it to be much like the ones sold in North-America and India will most probably get the same version.
The car should be sold in two engine options - a 2.0litre, i-VTEC, 4-cylinder petrol engine which pushes out 153bhp and 190Nm of torque, and a 2.4litre, i-VTEC, 4-cylinder petrol engine, producing 172bhp, and 225Nm of torque.
India will also get the hybrid variant, powered by a 2.0litre, i-VTEC, 4-cylinder petrol engine mated to an electric motor, which produces 141bhp. The total output will be 196bhp with a massive torque of 306Nm.
The exterior of the facelifted Accord will sport a sculpted look and gets a new all-aluminum hood, new upper grille, LED headlamps, LED fog lamps and LED taillights.
As for the interior, the Honda Accord might come with a 7-inch touch screen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto Smartphone integration.
