Haas F1 Team has lifted the cover off their 2016 race machine. The American-based team has named its Formula One contender as the VF-16 model. The VF-16 by Haas will be making its track debut on February 22, 2016, at Barcelona for the first test.
The Haas F1 model adorns a silver/black livery with a bright red accent. An American flag is also placed on the vehicle showcasing the vehicle's roots. The bright red colour in our opinion is the indication that the power unit in the vehicle is provided by Ferrari.
Esteban Gutierrez and Romain Grosjean are the two main drivers for Haas F1 Team. Both drivers will want to complete as many laps as possible behind the wheel of their new machines. Pre-season testing will be vital to the success of the team in Formula One.
Formula One is a huge platform to promote a brand and Haas F1 Team has taken this opportunity with both hands. The Haas F1 Team is the first team in six years to enter as an all-new team in the Formula One Championship. Over two years have been spent in development of the VF-16.
The first Formula One race of the 2016 Championship will begin in Australia. Prior to that teams will have a chance to test their machines in two pre-season testings. The first Formula One round is slated to commence on March 20, 2016.
