Video: Grandparents Drifting 2016 Ford Focus RS Will Make Your Day
Drifting a car is a modern phenomenon, asking the grandparents to show you an example might not really help it.
However, putting them behind the wheel of a Ford Focus RS with a dedicated button that says "Drift" should be a much better solution. That's exactly what Ford has done here.
Celebrating the National Grandparents Day, Ford invited a team of senior drivers (grandparent's of Ford's engineers) to kill the tires off their 350bhp hot hatch.
A team of Ford's engineers, with their grandparents, were given the keys to a 2016 Ford Focus RS to demonstrate the drift mode. Which later ended up demonstrating how the rear-biased all-wheel-drive system is used to tighten the 'generation gap'.
For any petrol-head, this might be the perfect way to spend some quality time with your family, so we're leaving the footage below for you to enjoy.
Remember: Don't try this at home.
