GM India Export Highest Number Of Beat Models In September
General Motors has achieved a new milestone with their Indian facility. Over 7,661 Chevrolet Beat hatchbacks have been exported from India during September 2016. This is the highest number of exports for Beat by General Motors India.
Out of the total exports during September 2016, General Motors exports 7,254 Beat hatchbacks to Mexico. The remaining units were shipped to Central and South America regions. Chevrolet Beat is their sixth most exported model from Indian facility.
Currently, General Motors India exports left hand drive Beat hatchback to Mexico, Chile, Peru, Central America, Uruguay, Argentina and Caribbean countries. During the financial year 2015-2016, General Motors India has exported 70,072 units of the Chevrolet Beat.
Previously, General Motors India announced that they have made India its export hub. This means that several models will be made in India and exported to international markets. It is rightly said that India will play a key role in General Motors success worldwide.
