Hyundai's luxury brand Genesis is teasing a new sports sedan concept for the 2016 New York Auto Show which starts on March 25, 2016.
Called the 'New York Concept', the car is expected to be the basis for the Genesis G70 which will be the new luxury carmaker's answer to the BMW 3 Series.
The image reveals just the front of the car which features sharp, angular headlamps that give the concept car a rather menacing image. The car seems quite wide, a fact that is accentuated by the combination of the angular headlamps and the big wide grille that it flanks.
The Genesis badge sits just above the grille and there are angular intakes on either side of the grille as well. The front splitter adds to the sporty and agressive look of the car.
Speaking about the concept, Manfred Fitzgerald, Head of the Genesis brand, said, "The New York Concept is a progressive concept car that showcases the design quality of the brand. With its expressive volumes and refined design, the New York Concept truly embodies the athletic elegance, which characterizes Genesis products."
