Ford Figo Aspire Automatic Gets Additional Safety Feature
Ford has updated the safety features on its Figo Aspire AT Titanium trim.
The car manufacturers and the customers nowadays are more concerned about the safety of their vehicle. And unlike earlier days the customers give more importance to the safety equipment in the car.
Reckoning this fact Ford has once again updated the safety features of its Figo Aspire top of the line Titanium automatic variant. The car will be equipped with additional airbags making it a total of seven airbags.
Whereas the previous model was offered with only front dual airbags. The updated Titanium+ trim includes a driver knee airbag, curtain and side airbags which is first in the segment.
The manual Ford Figo Aspire Titanium trim continues to carry the dual front airbags and ABS as a standard equipment and the top of the line Titanium variant sees no change in the safety features.
This is the second time Ford has updated the safety features on the Figo Aspire. Previously the automaker introduced the ABS as a standard feature on the mid-level Trend trim.
Apart from the Figo Aspire, its hatchback sibling, the Figo had also received ABS as a standard equipment, but this time only the Aspire is offered with additional safety feature.
With this update, Ford is looking to provide a great value for money for the petrol automatic variant of the compact sedan. Also, this update may see a slight hike in the price of the AT Figo Aspire.
In the recent months, several car manufacturers have introduced essential safety equipment such as ABS and airbags to their models in the country, as India is inching towards stricter safety standards for the vehicles.
