Ford India Adds Two New Features To Their Flagship SUV
New Ford Endeavour receives Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity features. These two additions have been introduced prior to the launch of Toyota’s all-new Fortuner model in India.
Ford India has updated its flagship SUV with additional features. The all-new Endeavour now sports both Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Previously, Ford India offered the Endeavour's infotainment system with SYNC3 system.
At the time of Ford Endeavour's launch in India, it featured SYNC2 system. With SYNC3 system, it could receive updates over WiFi, which was not available previously. Ford India is looking at improving connectivity options within the Endeavour to enhance customer experience.
All-new Toyota Fortuner will be launching in the Indian market very soon. Unfortunately, Toyota's new Fortuner does not feature Android Auto or Apple CarPlay. This could be a deal breaker for a few potential customers in the Indian market.
It does not come as a surprise then that Ford India has strategically chosen when to introduce Android Auto and Apple CarPlay in its Endeavour. The Ford Endeavour and Toyota Fortuner are expected to lock horns soon and both manufacturers would like to have an advantage over the other.
