Ford Sets A Milestone In Asia Pacific This year
The American carmaker, Ford Motor Company sold 1 million vehicles in Asia Pacific region in 2016. Ford is having a good year in sales. In August alone, the company has sold over 1,26,834 vehicles in the region.
Ford's growth this year has been driven by its growing SUV lineup. When compared to the same time period of last year, the sales went up by 17 percent. The new Ford Edge is selling like hot cakes in China.
Ford has created a massive impact in markets such as Australia, China, India and South Korea with the introduction of Mustang. Ford Ranger is also giving the company strong sales, particularly in Australia, New Zealand, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam.
In markets such as China, Vietnam, Philippines and Thailand, Ford's shares are increasing dramatically and there is no wonder how they passed the 1 million milestone.
