Fiat Suspends Production Abarth Punto And Avventura

Fiat has temporarily suspended the production of the Abarth Punto hot hatch and the Avventura crossover.
According to Rushlane, Fiat is stopping the production of the Abarth Punto and Avventura because it is preparing its Ranjangaon factory near Pune, for the upcoming Jeep C-SUV.
The Jeep C-SUV is expected to be unveiled at the Sao Paulo Motor Show in November and will produced in Brazil and India.
Fiat has invested $280 million on the production of the upcoming C-SUV at the Ranjangaon plant and the new SUV us expected to use a 2.0-litre MultiJet II diesel engine.
The new Jeep C-SUV is expected to start coming off the production lines at Ranjangaon production facility in late 2017 or early 2018.
