The Fiat Avventura Urban Cross was unveiled in Inda at the 2016 Auto Expo in Delhi. The Urban Cross is expected to launch in India in the very near future, with some reports suggesting that it could hit Indian roads in September.
Now, spy images obtained by Indian Autos Blog reveal that Italian carmaker Fiat is hard at work testing the Avventura Urban Cross before it enters showrooms.
The Fiat Avventura Urban Cross seen at the Expo looked like an urbanized version of the Avventura that currently prowls the roads of the country, with body-coloured bumpers and a blinged up grille.
The Auto Expo's Urban Cross also got LED follow me headlamps, ORVM turn indicators, a panoramic sunroof, along with big alloy wheels and LED optical guides inside the tail lamps. Also at the rear, the spare will not be mounted on the tailgate.
The car also featured dual-tone interiors as well as a touchscreen infotainment system.
Powering the Urban Cross will be a 1.4-litre T-Jet turbocharged petrol engine producing 138bhp @5,500rpm and 210Nm of torque between 200-4000rpm. The engine will be mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox.
