Fiat Avventura Urban Cross Launched In India; Prices Start At Rs 6.85 Lakh
Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) India has announced that the nationwide delivery of the new Avventura Urban Cross from October 1, 2016. As the cross-hatch will be available during the festive season, the cross-hatch from Fiat will be available with a special launch price of Rs 6.85 lakh ex-showroom (Delhi).
Fiat claims this is the most affordable diesel vehicle in its segment. The Avventura Urban Cross will be available in two trims of Active and Dynamic. Both the trims are powered by the 1.3-litre Multijet diesel engine which develops 94bhp paired to a five-speed manual gearbox.
The petrol variant will be powered by the Abarth is a 1.4-litre T-Jet engine churning out 138bhp and comes mated to a five-speed manual gearbox and is available in the Emotion trim. The Fiat Avventura Urban Cross exterior is designed with a new grille, front and rear dual-tone bumpers with skid plates.
Also seen is the 16-inch alloys with Piano Black painted pockets. The sporty spoiler (standard across variants), smart side body cladding and roof rails makes up the look of the Urban Cross hatchback. The Emotion variant powered by the Abarth gets an exclusive 16-inch ‘Scorpian' alloys, while the Active and Dynamic will sport the diamond-cut finish, Piano Black 16-inch alloys.
On the inside, features such as central and automatic door locking, dual tone dashboard with asoft touch front panel, rear AC vents, front smart power windows with delay and auto-down functions which rolls-up even after switching off the engine. A Smartech 5-inch music system with touch screen navigation (standard across variants) and Bluetooth audio streaming and telephony makes up the host of features on the Urban Cross.
Fiat will offer the Urban Cross in a limited period with Premium Burgundy Designer interiors accentuated with colour coordinated door inserts, Piano finish door armrests and designer seats with badging. This option will be offered during the festive period only and is found in the Dynamic diesel and Emotion petrol powered by the Abarth engine.
