Fiat Starts Bookings For The Avventura Urban Cross
Fiat cars are known for its solid build quality and its design language will make any car enthusiats admire the beauty. In India though it has been facing bit of challenge when it comes to sales, mainly attributed to its steep pricing tag and scarce dealership network in the country.
With the Avventura Uban Cross, the Italian car maker wants to change its fortunes in India. The company is accepting bookings for the Urban Cross for a minimum deposit of Rs 21,000.
The Fiat Urban Cross is based on the Avventura crossover; however, the Urban Cross is much more mellow and soft in characteristics.
The Fiat Urban Cross will be powered by option of petrol and diesel engines, the petrol mill is the 1.4-litre T-Jet seen in the Avventura which churns out 138bhp and 210Nm of torque.
The diesel mill is the 1.3-litre Multijet which powers the Punto Evo, producing 92bhp of power and 209Nm of torque. Both the engines will come mated to the 5-speed manual gearbox.
Features wise, the Fiat Urban Cross will be seen with touchscreen infotainment system with Bluetooth, AUX and GPS navigation. It will boast of standard dual airbags in the front and ABS.
The pricing is expected to be in the range of Rs 8 - 9 lakh.
