Faraday Future Teases First Production Model — Tesla Model X Rival Debut Just A Few Weeks Away
Embattled Chinese-American electric carmaker has teased its first production model, a Tesla Model X rival again.
Chinese-American electric carmaker Faraday Future has released a teaser image of its first ever production model. The electric SUV will make its public debut at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas on January 3, 2017.
The teaser image shows off the front fascia of the new SUV showcasing what seems to be LED Daytime Running Lights that wrap around the new electric vehicle's front end. Also seen is an illuminated ‘FF' logo in the center of the grille.
This is the first time that Faraday Future has shown an actual image of the production car, with previous teasers showing of camouflaged mules driving about testing out the SUV.
The production car will bring with it the auto industry's most energy dense batteries that will be used to power electric motors fitted onto the wheels of the SUV.
However, Faraday Future isn't in the best of shape financially and has stopped work on its massive production plant in Nevada which is being built at a reported cost of $1 billion.
