Chevrolet Trailblazer Facelift Launch Date Revealed

Chevrolet is looking to reinvent itself in India and is planning to launch five cars in India in the next 24 months.

Among the five vehicles that will be launched is the facelifted Trailblazer SUV which is already on sale in various countries around the world.

According to GaadiWaadi, the new Trailblazer which was showcased at the 2016 Bangkok Motor Show will finally make its Indian debut in the financial year 2017/18.

Powering the refreshed Trailblazer will be Chevy's tried and tested 2.8-litre turbo diesel engine that produces 197hp and 500Nm of torque, which will be sent to the wheels through a 6-speed automatic gearbox.

Design wise, the new Trailblazer has undergone a rather big change. Up front, the new Trailblazer has borrowed its face from the Colorado pickup truck on sale in the United States with and imposing grille and large, angular headlamps with LED daytime running lights.

Under the pumped up wheel arches, the new Trailblazer sits on 22-inch alloy wheels and at the rear end of the SUV, the taillamps feature new graphics.

Inside, the 2017 Trailblazer will feature an even more luxurious interior along with the some of the latest tech for cars including Apple Car Play.
