ExxonMobil Launches Mission Mechanic Unnati Program
ExxonMobil Lubricants has launched a new program called as Mechanic Unnati to train commercial vehicle mechanics in India.
ExxonMobil Lubricants Pvt Ltd has launched a special program to develop commercial vehicle mechanic in India called as Mechanic Unnati. The program will be held from October 1 to December 31, 2016, across pan-India basis.
Mechanic Unnati is a program to provide rewards and incentives based on the individual contribution of the mechanic. The top 50 mechanics chosen for this program will be trained on new engine technologies.
Mechanic Unnati program runs parallel to Government of India's Skilling India and the Automotive Mission Plan 2016, which highlights the importance of trained manpower in the growth of Indian automotive sector.
Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of ExxonMobil, Deepankar Banerjee said, "There are many opportunities for growth in India. ExxonMobil, which markets lubricants under its Mobil brand, sees many opportunities for the development of expertise and people in the automotive sector."
He added, "We are excited to bring our product technology leadership and expertise to support this growth. We believe in synergies through world class partnerships with leading original equipment manufacturers and component builders, and also in developing local human Capital."
