Paul di Resta, former Force India driver will be making his comeback to Formula One. This time, however, he will be not a part of Force India and will be competing for Williams Racing. The Scotsman will be participating as a reserve driver for Williams.
The Scottish racer has had an illustrious career in various forms of motorsports. Paul di Resta has won the DTM Championship twice once in 2010, followed by 2011. He spent three seasons in Formula One with Force India, where he amassed 121 points over several races.
Several hours will be spent by Paul di Resta over race weekends, learning how the new Formula One cars function. He will have limited time to understand the Williams Racing F1 vehicle. Currently, Williams F1 Team has Felipe Massa and Valtteri Bottas behind the steering wheel.
During 2016, Paul di Resta will also be a part of DTM Championship. He will be racing for Mercedes AMG team. The job at hand will be tough as he will also have to attend almost every Formula One race weekend as he is Williams Racing reserve driver.
Formula One 2016 Championship is shaping up well and we hope it won't be a one-sided battle this time. Round one is scheduled for March 20, 2016, in Australia, around the Melbourne Grand Prix circuit. Stay tuned for live updates as the race gets on its way this weekend.
