Sixth Edition Of Delhi Car Free Day To Be Held On March 22
The AAP Government is currently in charge of running the capital city of India, Delhi. Every 22nd of the month was decided to be organised as a 'Car Free Day' in Delhi. Now for the sixth time, citizens of Delhi will be part of the 'Car Free Day' on March 22, 2016.
On March 22, 2016, the Government will be organising an environment Awareness March. Usually, the AAP leaders organise a cycle rally on every Car Free Day held in Delhi. This time around they have tweaked it a bit and will try to create awareness among citizens.
The sixth edition of Car Free Day in Delhi will be organised in Shahdara area, which is part of North-East Delhi. Activists will try and promote people to make use of public transport. Their goal is to show individuals simple and effective measures to control air pollution.
Car Free Day in Delhi on March 22, 2016, will be held between 08:00 am to 04:00 pm. People are requested not to make use of their personal vehicles. The movement shows individual two things, a decrease in traffic as well as a considerable dip in air pollution levels.
