Datsun redi-GO: Official Mileage & Launch Date
Datsun has confirmed through its website the mileage figures of the redi-GO, though no official confirmation of the launch date of the small car, it could be launched in the first week of June.
The redi-GO from Datsun will run for 25.17 km/l before it comes to a standstill, this suggests that it will share its engine from its sibling - the Renault Kwid. The 799cc engine from the Renault Kwid develops 53bhp at 5678rpm and 72Nm of torque at 4386rpm, this is mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox.
The cabin space is expected to be higher compared to the Renault Kwid and even the ground clearance is 185mm which is higher than any of its competitors.
Some of the highlights of the Datsun redi-GO are the LED DRLs (Daytime Running Lights), tall boy design and a good turning radius to help you maneuver in city conditions and the redi-GO boasts of multiple storage spaces.
Apart from the mileage details, the Datsun redi-GO will also come with the gearshift indicator to help you drive efficiently.Official ARAI mileage is 25.17 km/l, however, differ based on your driving and road conditions, you can expect a mileage of 16-18 approximately.
The Datsun redi-GO will compete with Renault Kwid and Maruti Alto 800 and expected to be priced around Rs. 2.5 to 3 lakh ex-showroom.
Datsun is a brand owned by Nissan, which uses this brand to sell low-cost vehicles, the Datsun brand is a very old automobile manufacturer back in the 1930s, this was later phased out in 1986, and later revived in 2013 to address the requirement in the emerging economies.
