Special Edition Datsun GO & GO+ Launched In Indonesia – Is India Next?
Datsun has launched a special edition model of the Datsun GO and GO+ in Indonesia, called the Datsun Go+ Panca Special Version and the GO Panca Special Version. Both models are based on the Datsun GO+ and the GO Panca T-Style.
The Datsun GO+ Panca Special Version costs Rp 126 million (Rs. 6.34 lakh) and the GO Panca Special Version costs Rp 113.4 million (Rs. 5.70 lakh).
Both the Special Version models will be made in limited numbers - 500 units to be exact. Both vehicles receive a host of cosmetic updates like aero body kit, extended front and rear bumpers with a host of chrome accents, and the GO receives faux carbon fiber roof spoiler and chrome exhaust tips.
On the inside, both models receive beige leather upholstery, a single DIN music player with integrated reverse camera, and a set of tweeters, speakers, and an amplifier.
On the mechanical front, both the Panca Special Versions continue to be powered by the same 1.2-litre, three-cylinder engine that makes 68bhp and 104Nm of torque. Power is delivered to the front wheels via a 5-speed manual gearbox.
So will the Special Version cars come to India? We sure hope they do since features and creature comforts are something that fascinate customers in India. Stay tuned for more updates.
