Daimler's Top Executive Jumps Ship To Bosch
One of Daimler's top executive, Harald Kroeger, has decided to join the German auto parts manufacturer, Bosch. People familiar with the matter told Reuters. Kroeger was head of Development for Electrics, Electronics, and E-Drive at Daimler.
German carmakers have taken electric cars as prime focus, after neglecting them for a long time. People neglected electric cars owing to the cost and limited operating range.
Now, looking at the advances in the electric car industry, German companies like Volkswagen, Daimler, Bosch, and Continental are starting to make big investments.
Both companies have declined to comment about Kroeger's move, and his sudden decision comes in at a time when Mercedes-Benz is preparing to launch electric vehicles.
