Chevrolet India Spied Testing Its 2017 Trailblazer SUV Again
Chevrolet has revealed that it plans to launch five new models in the Indian market within 24 months. One upcoming model is the all-new Trailblazer premium SUV. The American-based manufacturer plans on launching the new Trailblazer in India sometime during FY 2017-2018.
The new Trailblazer was once again spied testing on Indian roads. Previously, the model was unveiled in the production-ready avatar in Brazil. Chevrolet India has camouflaged the SUV extremely well, however, the headlights and other minor details indicate the new Trailblazer.
The 2017 Trailblazer receives a new headlight and the tail light unit from Chevrolet. The front grille and bumper have been redesigned for a rugged and imposing fascia. Engine hood also gets more muscular bodywork to provide a true off-roader persona.
Interiors of the 2017 Chevrolet Trailblazer will be revised for a more premium and upmarket feel. Dashboard will receive a dual-tone scheme to provide a unique appearance. The driver and passenger seats will also be redesigned for improved comfort level.
Chevrolet is most likely to introduce an all-new petrol engine, alongside the diesel engine on offer in India. The new engine will be a 3.6-litre V6, petrol engine. Engineers have tuned this engine to produce 270.25bhp along with 350Nm of torque and is mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission.
