BMW India Set To Launch An Interesting Product For India On October 19
BMW plans on launching an all-new product during the 2016 festive season. Next-gen BMW 3 Series GT (Gran Turismo) model will be introduced in India on October 19, 2016. At the recently concluded Paris Motor Show, German luxury car maker unveiled the all-new 3 Series GT.
Under the hood of BMW 3 Series GT will be a 2.0-litre diesel engine. This engine produces 187bhp, along with 400Nm of torque, and is mated to an automatic transmission. Internationally, BMW offers 3 Series GT with an option between three petrol and five diesel engines.
Not much has been revealed about BMW 3 Series GT model that will be launched in India. BMW is most likely to introduce the 3 Series GT that is available for international markets. There will be no difference between models available in India and other markets.
The German luxury car maker is likely to initially introduce its 3 Series GT as a CBU (Completely Built Unit). In due course of time, BMW India will gauge the demand and decided whether or not CKD (Completely Knocked Down) 3 Series GT should be introduced.
