Behind the wheel was BMW Motorsport Junior Jesse Krohn and BMW DTM driver Martin Tomczyk, who shared the cockpit of the Schubert Motorsport BMW M6 GT3 at the finale of the 2016 ADAC GT Masters in Hockenheim.
Krohn had contested the entire championship in the number 20 BMW Motorsports junior car and received support from Tomczyk in the two rounds.
BMW DTM driver António Félix da Costa has also driven the GT3 machine at the Red Bull Ring race weekend.
The duo qualified 16th for the race and fought hard to claim 12th place in the incident-filled race and narrowly missed out of points.
On the second race, Tomczyk started 23rd on the grid with Krohn taking the wheel at the later stage the team managed to finish 15th after an eventful race.
This was the final race for the BMW M6 GT3 machine. The fifth place at the round one was the best result for the car.
Torsten Schubert,Team Principal Schubert Motorsport said, "On the whole, this season did not pan out as we had hoped. We had a few good moments and were strong on certain tracks."
He added, "When this was the case, however, we were often lacking that little slice of luck you need. Looking ahead to the coming season, we still have plenty of work ahead of us if we want to compete for the title with the BMW M6 GT3 in the future."
