BMW Set To Launch M2 CS For 2018

BMW M2 became very popular in less than two years after its launch. But now in the company, someone got an idea about giving more power for the new variant, M2 CS. The new powerful M2 CS will get a sportier facelift, with some new technology components.

The M2 CS will have a new variant of the twin-turbo inline six-cylinder S55 which produces around 400bhp. The previously used engine N55 was already quite elaborately modified and it has to be replaced by S55 in order to obtain more flexibility in terms of power and torque.

The S55 engine is used in M3 and M4 models, which would be modified for the M2 CS to make this much power. The 2018 model could be a tough competitor in the sportscar segment. Currently, Audi TT RS is the vehicle to compare with the new M2. The TT RS produces 400bhp and on paper, it's same as the M2. 0-100 km/h sprint time for Audi is 3.7 seconds.

We still don't know about the finals specs of M2 CS. But one thing is certain, that BMW M will take all necessary steps to deliver us the new CS.
