Heck Yeah! BMW Films Are Back With "The Escape"
BMW has announced the revival its film series with the launch of 'The Escape,' a short movie starring Clive Owen, Vera Farmiga, Dakota Fanning, and Jon Bernthal.
Directed by Neill Blomkamp, "The Escape" comes 15 years after BMW rolled out a series of eight short films starring Clive Owen as a driver for hire. The series received more than 100 million views, according to the brand.
These movies have also won a number of awards, including the Titanium Lion at the Cannes.
In ‘The Escape,' Clive Owen will revive his role as "The Driver." The movie, which is set to debut on Oct. 23 at the company's website, will be an homage to the 15th anniversary of the BMW Film series.
BMW has also brought back its old crew, including creative director Bruce Bildsten, and executive producer Brian DiLorenzo.
Even though it's unclear that how many episodes will be there in the new series, we expect to find out more when "The Escape" goes on-air.
In the meantime, here's the teaser for you.
The Escape will premiere Sunday, October 23, at 6 p.m. ET on BMWFilms.com.
