BMW 3 Series GT Launched In India; Prices Start At Rs. 43.30 Lakh
BMW has launched the new 3 Series GT in India. The new sedan features updated looks and a new engine option.
German carmaker BMW has launched the facelifted 3-Series GT luxury sedan in India. Prices for the new 3-Series GT (Gran Turismo) start at Rs. 43.30 lakh ex-showroom (Delhi).

The new BMW 3 Series is available with two different engine options.
The 2.0-litre turbocharged diesel found under the hood of the 320d produces 187bhp and 400Nm of torque.
The 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine powering the 330i variant produces 248.5bhp and 350Nm of torque.
Both engines are paired to an 8-speed automatic gearbox.
The diesel powered 3 Series GT will sprint from 0 - 100km/h in 7.7 seconds. The petrol powered 330i variant is over 1.5 seconds quicker, sprinting from 0 - 100km/h in just 6.1 seconds.
Design wise, BMW has give the new 3 Series GT a few subtle design tweaks to differentiate it from the pre-facelift car.
The redesigned headlamps features adaptive LEDs as an option and the fog lamps are LED as well. The front bumper features larger air vents as well.
At the rear, the bumper has been tweaked as well. The tail lamps feature L shaped LED elements which look quite similar to the one on the 7 Series an the the recently unveiled 5 Series.
The active rear spoiler extends out a when the car is moving at a fair clip.
Inside, the changes are subtle as well, with additional chrome bits. The addition of wood inlays, give the new 3 Series GT a more premium feel as well.
The new 3 Series GT features all the safety kit needed to ensure the safety of its driver and passengers.
These include multiple airbag, ABS, traction control, corner braking, run flat tyres with reinforced sidewalls and an electronic vehicle immobilizer.
