BMW Showcases 1 Series Sedan At 2016 Guangzhou Auto Show
BMW offers the 1 Series Sedan in China in three petrol variants: 118i, 120i and 125i.

BMW
showcased
the
1
Series
Sedan.
The
introduction
of
the
entry-level
BMW
sedan
in
China
will
help
the
company
to
increase
the
sales
in
the
segment
currently
ruled
by
the
rivals,
Audi
A3
and
Mercedes-Benz
CLA-Class.
The 1 Series sedan is 4,456mm long, 1,803mm wide and 1,446mm high, and has a wheelbase of 2,670mm. The car is very well proportioned and sporty looking. At the front, it gets kidney grilles and to be honest, it has the most stylish headlights and rear lights in the current BMW product lineup.
Inside, the top-end 1 Series features a dual-tone beige and black colour combo with a floating dashboard. The centre console is angled towards the driver.
The model also has a three-spoke multifunction steering wheel, electric brake, Start & Stop button, an 8.8 inch LED central screen, fill colour Head-Up Display and BMW iDrive system.
BMW offers the 1 Series Sedan in China in three petrol variants: 118i, 120i and 125i. The 118i gets a 1.5-litre TwinPower turbo three-cylinder engine which develops 136bhp and the power unit is paired with a 6-speed automatic gearbox.
The 120i and 125i are powered by a 2.0-litre TwinPower four-cylinder engine producing 192bhp and 231bhp respectively. The engine is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission.
