BharatBenz Trucks To Be Used In The First Season Of India’s Deadliest Roads (IRT)
BharatBenz has joined hands with History TV18 to feature in the TV series 'India's Deadliest Roads' (IRT) and the show will be aired in ten episodes every Friday at 9:00PM starting from October 21.
BharatBenz has joined hands with History TV18 to present the first Indian edition of the 'IRT - India's Deadliest Roads' TV series which will be aired ten episodes.
The new TV series will start from October 21 and will be aired every Friday at 9:00 PM. The TV series will witness actress Mandira Bedi, wrestler Sangram Singh and actor Varun Sharma driving the trucks on dangerous Indian roads.
The show features the trio driving the trucks on the roads of Leh-Ladakh, Pangong Lake and Nubra to supply essential commodities to the villages in that region.
In the show, the three celebrities will be driving the BharatBenz MD In-Power 1214R truck for 1,500 kilometres with an altitude of 18,000 metres in the Himalayan region.
The TV series will document the difficulties faced by Indian truck drivers in these regions who are the lifeline for daily needs in parts of the Himalayan region.
The celebrities were trained in Chennai and Manali to drive the trucks on different terrains and to get familiarised with the truck and its features.
The three trucks from BharatBenz which will be featured in the show are from recently launched next generation of medium-duty trucks which delivers improved fuel efficiency and higher driving comfort.
Sominder Singh, DICV's Vice President For Domestic Sales Product Management & Network said that they have joined hands with History TV18 after knowing how challenging and fascinating the journey can be.
