Report: Aston Martin Nails The Real World Mileage Test
A new testing regime is on its way to calculate 'official' mileage figures on public roads. This new method will replace the method we currently use in controlled situations.
Everyone are now expecting fuel economy statistics to decline since the new tests are carried out on public roads. But, Aston Martin stunned everyone by being the only company to exceed its official mileage figures.
According to an independent body that conducted these real world tests, the V8 Vantage from Aston Martin was the only car that was able to beat its official mileage figure of9km/l.
Even though the "real world" mileage figures are not significantly higher, it's a great achievement for the manufacturer.
With Aston Martin being the only 'winner', it's not shocking to know that no other car tested by Emissions Analytics was able to match its manufacturer claims.
