Aston Martin Launches 2016 Rapide In India For Rs. 3.29 Crore
Aston Martin has launched its all-new 2016-edition of the Rapide in the Indian market. The super luxurious sportscar will be available with a price tag of only Rs. 3.29 crore ex-showroom (Thane). Performance Cars, which is a division of Infinity Cars Pvt. Ltd collaborated with Aston Martin to bring the new model to India.
Powering the Aston Martin 2016 Rapide is a 6.0-litre, V12 petrol engine. The engine is mated to an 8-speed automatic ZF gearbox and produces 510bhp. All-new Rapide can sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in a matter of just 4.6 seconds and can attain a top speed of 306 km/h with ease.
Apart from performance, Aston Martin has also focussed on safety features. The 2016 Rapide gets eight airbags, dual pre-tensioning seat belts, load limiting technology for four occupants, and an advanced bonded aluminium structure.
The 2016 Rapide's interior will get AMI III entertainment system with a 6.5-inch display. The centre console is laid out elegantly and is well spaced. Everything about the interior of the Aston Martin's new Rapide shouts out uber-luxurious.
Present at the event were Neil Slade, General Manager AMMENA for Aston Martin. Also present at the occasion was Lalit Choudary, Infinity Cars managing Director. Both of them are confident that the 2016 Rapide by Aston Martin will draw the attention of luxury car buyers in India.
