This Lightning Quick Car Will Wipe Out Most Supercars
The Beijing Automotive Industry Corporation (BAIC) is known for making Hyundai and Mercedes-Benz branded cars for the Chinese market.
Now though they've decided to go electric with a scissor door electric supercar that is looking to compete with the fastest of supercars while also looking the part.
The supercar in question is called the Arcfox 7 and it uses a 603bhp electric motor to shoot from 0-100km/h in around three seconds. Top speed is 257km/h.
There are three driving modes - Economy, Comfort and Race - each of which adjusts the height of the car.
The electric supercar comes to a halt thanks to carbon ceramic disc brakes with 6-piston calipers up front and 4-piston calipers at the rear.
The Arcfox 7 uses a 6.6kWh battery pack which allows it to run for 300km/h on a single charge. The car despite its carbon fibre body weighs in at 1755 kilograms.
Design wise, the car features LED headlights and scissor doors and looks like similar to the Aston Martin Vulcan. Inside the car features a digital display as well as a fingerprint scanner which is used to start the motor.
The Arcfox 7 will sit at the top end of the Arcfox range while the Arcfox 1, an open top small SUV, which was also shown on the showfloor of the Beijing Motor Show.
