Alfa Romeo To Expand Its Product Portfolio By 2020
Fiat Chrysler Automobile aims at making Alfa Romeo more competitive in the global market by this decade, and to achieve this more models will be added to the brand's lineup.
The new Stelvio SUV which will be showcased in this year's LA Auto Show, the Italian firm also plans to launch a sedan according to a report from FCA. This sedan will be competing with the likes of BMW 5-Series, Mercedes-Benz E-Class, and AUDI A6.
Alfa Romeo also speculates to introduce a hatchback model which will replace the current Giulietta. This hatchback will go head on with Volkswagen Golf 8 and other cars in this segment such as, Ford Focus, Renault Megane and Opel Astra.
The company will also introduce two more SUVs, as of now there is no info revealed by the manufacturer. If everything falls in place, the new models will go on sale by mid 2020, the products will be initially launched in Europe, Middle East and Africa, Canada, Mexico and US markets.
