Italian coachbuilders Carrozzeria Touring Superleggera have unveiled a convertible version of the Disco Volante. The Disco Volante is based on the Alfa Romeo 8C Spider.
The coachbuilder from Milan is celebrating its 90th anniversary and the Disco Volante Spider is its own way of celebrating the occasion. The Disco Volante Spider takes its styling cues from the Disco Volante coupe.
The Disco Volante Spider retains the rounded looks which go well with the name 'Disco Volante' which means flying saucer.
It takes Touring 6 months to build a Disco Volante Spider and only 7 will ever be built.
