2018 Skoda Yeti To Be Inspired By New Kodiaq
The

of
the
2018
Skoda
Yeti
will
be
inspired
by
the
new
Kodiaq.
This
was
stated
by
Skoda's
design
chief
Jozef
Kaban.
Although Kaban did not reveal more information about the 2018 Yeti, he said that the distinctive boxy style of the current Yeti will not be abandoned completely.
But he said that the Skoda's new large SUV, the Kodiaq's looks will be seen on the 2018 Yeti.
The first glimpse of the 2018 Yeti can be seen around mid-2017, ahead of its UK sale date of early 2018.
The current Yeti has been sold in different forms since 2009 and has increased its sales in Europe every year since it was launched.
However, the sales have been not that great from past two years. But with the new Yeti which will be based on Volkswagen's MQB platform, Yeti will come back refreshed.
The 2018 Yeti will receive the latest petrol and diesel mills and some new technology that is being used in the Kodiaq.
The transition to the MQB platform means, the new Yeti will fit in the VW range alongside the Seat Ateca, VW Tiguan and Audi Q3.
According to Kaban's comments, the new Yeti is likely to get Kodiaq's front and rear bumper design, front grille and the front-rear side profiles.
