2017 Renault Duster Will Be Bolder & Bigger Than Ever Before
Renault recently provided the Duster compact SUV with a mild cosmetic update. For 2017, the French-based manufacturer plans on overhauling the design and body shape of the Duster. The all-new Renault Duster will be offered with an option between a 5-seater and 7-seater variant.
The current generation Renault Duster is slightly over the four-metre barrier. Renault engineers have thus, decided to make the 2017 Duster bigger and bolder than the existing model. The all-new Duster is most likely to be developed on the Renault-Nissan CMF modular platform.
No changes are expected to be carried out on the diesel engine options for the Indian market. Renault could offer an all-new 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol engine in the 2017 Duster. The new Renault Duster will be offered with manual and automatic transmission, along with front-wheel and all-wheel drive option.
Expect pricing of the new Renault Duster to gain significantly once launched. The 2017 Duster will be moving away from its tag of compact SUV and will be offered as a family SUV. Renault will most likely showcase new Duster sometime during early 2017, followed by its launch in most markets.
