2017 Honda City Facelift Leaked Ahead Of Launch
The 2017 Honda City facelift was teased by Honda Thailand a few days ago. Now leaked images have surfaced on the internet revealing the new front and rear fascias.
Recently, Honda Thailand has released a set of teaser images of the 2017 Honda City facelift. Now, the leaked images of the sedan have surfaced on the internet.
The spy shots reveal the newly designed front and rear fascias of the 2017 Honda City. The revamped front fascia of the car features LED headlamps with daytime running lights.
The 2017 Honda City gets a new front bumper with large grille garnished with chrome which extends to the headlamps.
The rear end also gets a makeover with redesigned bumper, faux air vents and a pair of reflectors on either side. The tail lamps of the facelifted sedan remain identical to the outgoing model, but the 2017 model gets LED illumination.
The boot lip of the facelifted Honda City gets integrated stop light. Other prominent features of the new sedan are 16-inch diamond cut alloy wheels and Cosmic Blue Metallic colour borrowed from the new Honda Civic.
The interior of the facelifted sedan will feature an all-black dashboard and touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay ad Android Auto connectivity. The 2017 City will be revealed in Thailand on January 12, 2017.
It is expected that the 2017 City will hit the Indian shores in the same month and will be powered by the existing 1.5-litre i-VTEC petrol and 1.5-litre i-DTEC diesel engines. The transmission options include a six-speed manual or CVT gearbox for the petrol variant and the diesel version will come with five-speed manual gearbox.
