All-New Ford EcoSport Debuts In November & Will Launch In India By 2017
Ford is constantly testing the facelift version of their EcoSport compact SUV. Now, the American manufacturer confirms that the 2017 EcoSport will be making it's public debut in November. The all-new Ford EcoSport will be initially launched in Brazil, followed soon by the Indian launch.
The 2016 Sao Paulo Motor Show in Brazil has been selected as the reveal destination for Ford's new EcoSport. Several changes will be carried out on the exterior and interior design of the compact SUV. Currently, Ford is feverishly testing the vehicle in Brazil.
The front Fascia of the 2017 EcoSport will be inspired by Ford's new Endeavour and Edge SUVs. The grille, headlamps, fog lamps, and bumper will be redesigned providing a fresh look. Rear bumper and tail-lights will be revised offering a completely new look.
Overall, the profile of the 2017 Ford EcoSport will not be altered. There have been rumours that Ford could ditch the rear-mounted spare wheel on the 2017 EcoSport. Ford could offer two variants, one with the rear-mounted spare wheel and the other without it.
In India, the 2017 Ford EcoSport will continue with the same engine options. A 1.0-litre EcoBoost petrol engine, 1.5-litre Ti-VCT petrol, and 1.5-litre TDCi diesel engine will be offered. Only the 1.5-litre Ti-VCT petrol engine will be mated to an optional manual and automatic gearbox.
