2017 Audi Q5 Spied Testing On India Roads Ahead Of Debut
Audi has been testing several of its upcoming products on Indian roads. The advantage of testing in India is that vehicles can go through various terrains and conditions. Now, the next-generation Audi Q5 was spied testing on Indian roads ahead of its debut.
Next-gen Audi Q5 will be built on the Modular Longitudinal Matrix (MLM) Evo platform. This platform is being used by several other models and manufacturers within the VW Group. The Bentley Bentayga and Audi's A4, A5, and Q7 models share this common platform.
So far, engine specifications of the 2017 Audi Q5 have not been revealed. Expect a wide range of petrol and diesel engine options to power next-gen Audi Q5. Audi will pair these engines to optional manual and automatic transmissions for international markets.
Designers will rework the front and rear bumper on the 2017 Audi Q5. The front fascia will be updated for a modern and sporty persona. Audi promises that all body panels used on the 2017 Q5 will be completely redesigned. All-new headlights and tail lights will also be included on the next-gen Q5.
