Hyundai Elite i20 And i20 Active To Get Dual Airbags As Standard
Hyundai Motors India has introduced dual front airbags as standard on the 2016 Elite i20 and the i20 Active. The company has decided to discontinue the Sports variant and make other minor changes in the entire variant line-up.
The manufacturer has announced that the 2016 i20 and i20 Active models will be offered in five different trims. The hatchback will sport two engine options that include a 1.4-liter diesel and a 1.2-liter petrol as same as the previous generation. The low-end variants such as Era and Magna will miss out Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS).
Since the manufacturer has decided to discontinue the sports variant, the current top-end variant, Asta will be equipped with projector headlamps with cornering function and daytime running lamps. The 2016 models will also be fitted with 16-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels.
