Volvo S60 Petrol Most Likely To Launch In India By July
Volvo recently debuted and commenced booking of their XC90 luxury SUV in India. Prior to that the Swedish manufacturer had launched V40 Cross Country petrol model in India.
They are now showing incredible faith in the Indian market and plan on launching several other products. It is most likely that their next offering will be the Volvo S60 petrol sedan.
Here are the technical specifications of Volvo S60 petrol model:
- Engine: 2.4-litre four cylinder petrol
- Horsepower: 302
- Torque: 400 Nm
- Gearbox: 8-speed transaxle
In terms of design it will be similar to the model offered in India currently. Volvo will provide sporty set of alloy wheels and dual exhaust ports.
The S60 petrol is a sports car that has been designed for road use. It can sprint from 0 to 100 kph in matter of six seconds flat, without any effort. It will be targeted at petrolheads in India, who care about performance and safety.
Swedish manufacturer will also be looking at options of local assembly. A decision will be taken in this regard by 2015-end. Local assembly of products would help achieve more competitive pricing in India.
