Volvo Could Offer Bespoke Models Within Portfolio For Customers
Volvo currently offers luxurious models all over the world and is constantly finding new ways to better sales. Customising vehicles is a huge business worldwide and Volvo is currently studying it. Volvo could soon introduce bespoke models based on their existing portfolio.
The demand for unique and luxurious models around the world is growing. Several luxury vehicle manufacturers are offering a customisation option. Volvo is expecting that by offering bespoke models, they will be able to boost their global sales.
Volvo plans on revamping its entire product portfolio across the globe. The launch of an all-new bespoke division will be done independently. The bespoke division will provide customers the freedom to design the interior and exterior of their Volvo according to their preference.
Recently, Volvo introduced its all-new S90 sedan, which is soon to go on sale in several international markets. In 2015, Volvo Auto revealed two new models, including the all-new XC90 luxury SUV. The design language of both vehicles will be extended to the entire line-up.
At this moment, it is unclear if Volvo would offer bespoke services to its entire line-up or reserve it only for top end variants. Mercedes-Benz, BMW, and Jaguar Land Rover offer bespoke models within their portfolio. It will be interesting to see how Volvo sets itself apart from other bespoke model providers.
