Volkswagen Scirocco GTS Global Debut At Shanghai Motor Show

The Shanghai Motor Show is scheduled for 22nd to 29th of April, 2015. Several manufacturers will be showcasing their upcoming products for the very first time in Shanghai.

German automobile manufacturer, Volkswagen will be present at Shanghai Motor Show. They will showcase their new Scirocco GTS for the very first time at the upcoming auto show.

The 2015 Volkswagen Scirocco GTS will have the following specifications:

• Engine: 2.0-litre TSI, petrol turbocharged, direct injection
• Horsepower: 216.90
• Torque: 350 Nm
• Gearbox: 6-speed manual and 6-speed DSG
• Top Speed: 246 kph

The Scirocco GTS will drive on 18-inch Norwich alloy wheels and an optional 19-inch Lugano will be available. Volkswagen have also provided a brake callipers that get red colour and provide a sporty look.

Volkswagen will offer its Scirocco GTS in six colour options. Deep Black, Pure White, Oryx White, Urano Grey, Indium Grey and Flash Red. Customers can also opt for the sporty decal, which include racing stripes from bonnet to roof.

The German manufacturer has paid special attention to the interior. Scirocco GTS will get a sporty cabin and will maintain their black and red theme. There are several customisation options that one can choose from as well.

Scirocco is one of the most popular sportscar in the world, it has sold approximately a million units. Volkswagen believe their GTS version of Scirocco will appeal to several racing enthusiasts across the globe.
