Volkswagen Debuts New Tiguan In Four Different Versions At Frankfurt

Volkswagen Group Night had been organised a day prior to 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show. The German manufacturer showcased several of their latest offerings from its company portfolio.

New Tiguan made its debut and Volkswagen showcased in four avatars. They are Tiguan R-Line, Tiguan GTE Concept, new Tiguan on-road and off-road models.

This is the second generation Tiguan SUV by Volkswagen and is based on their latest MQB platform. German automobile maker has provided their popular SUV with an all-new design and several new technologies.

Volkswagen Group has unveiled four new versions of their second generation Tiguan at 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show. The four models are new Tiguan SUV on-road model, Tiguan SUV off-road model, Tiguan R-Line and Tiguan GTE Concept model.

The new Tiguan SUV will be offered in two versions one is a regular model for everyday street use. While the other if an off-road version specifically tuned for challenges faced in tough terrain.

Volkswagen is offering its all-new Tiguan SUV with eight engine options. German engineers claim that their models develop more performance and are high on fuel efficiency at the same time.

New Tiguan also offers more space within the cabin as well as luggage compartment. Volkswagen has also managed to decrease the weight of their new SUV by 50 kilograms over its predecessor.

The R-Line Tiguan is a sporty offering from Volkswagen. The designers have provided a more sporty exterior design and its engine extras more power as well.

Tiguan R-Line is best suited for street use, however, it will be capable of conquering tough terrain as well. Volkswagen has done an excellent job of providing three production versions of their all-new SUV.

Volkswagen has also showcased their Tiguan GTE concept and promises to put it to production soon. It is a plug-in hybrid and is a direction towards the future of automobiles.

The Tiguan GTE Concept from Volkswagen looks impressive and when launched will be a popular choice for many. German automobile manufacturer will also provide several segment first technologies in their SUVs.
