Volkswagen Emissions Scandal - Chinese Environmental Group Sues VW

The China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation, a chinese environmental group has sued the Volkswagen Group over it use of software to cheat emissions tests.
The group released a three sentence statement on its website that it filed the case in the Chinese port city of Tianjin. Chinese state owned media calls the case, the first public interest lawsuit over the emissions scandal in China, which is VW's biggest market.
The rigged tests only affect 1,950 vehicles in China where VW said it had shipped 3.2 million vehicles from January to November 2015.
The emissions scandal was first uncovered in September after on road emissions tests in the United States.
