Volkswagen Cross Polo To Get A Facelift Soon In India
Volkswagen currently is not doing all that well in India and is planning to introduce a few models to improve its situation. They plan to launch a compact sedan and a SUV in India soon.
The German manufacturer is also looking at introducing a facelifted version of its Cross Polo. It was launched two years ago and has since then not gone under any changes so far.
Their current goal is to make it different from its hatchback models which it is based on. Volkswagen crossover will receive loads of cosmetic updates providing a fresher look.
In terms of engine it will be the same and there will be no change mechanically. It could additional safety features that makes it better among its competitors in India.
Crossover market is growing in India at a steady pace as of now. Volkswagen has to compete with new products like Fiat Avventura, Hyundai Active i20 and Toyota's Etios Cross.
Volkswagen is expected to incorporate several international design cues and features to increase value of its product. The Cross Polo will be more premium and upmarket than it currently is in India.
