First All Electric Porsche Confirmed
oi-Rajkamal
By Rajkamal
Volkswagen, the German carmaker has confirmed plans for hybrid, electric and fuel celled vehicles that will be introduced in the market over the next 10 years.
But the most interesting part of the confirmation is that there will be an all electric Porsche along with the launch of these new cars.
Although Dr Heinz-Jacob Neusser, the Chairman of the board of the Volkswagen group did not reveal much details, the car will most likely be a rival to BMW or the Tesla Model S.
The new electric Porsche will be equipped only with an electric motor and will have no internal combustion engine to help extend the range.
The amount of horsepower or the torque that the electric motor of the porsche will produce is also unknown at the moment.
