JK Tyre Racing Championship 2015: Vento Cup Round 3 Results

The second day, of the Round 3 of the JK Tyre Racing Championship 2015, opened with the Vento Cup race and witnessed the third victory for Karminder Pal Singh, from New Delhi. Starting sixth on the grid, Karminder made early moves in the first two laps of the race to take the lead. Clinching the second spot on the podium was Ishaan Dodhiwala, from Hyderabad. Following him was Prabhanj Paruchuri, who climbed the podium for the first time in his racing career.

Winner of the first race of the weekend, Anindith Reddy, managed to finish fourth after having started back in eighth on the grid. In the third race, an incident involving Amit Mete forced the safety car to come out. Once the race restarted at full pace, it was Anindith Reddy defending his pole-position from Ishaan Dodhiwala.

Behind them was a battle between Karminder Pal Singh, and Sailesh Bolisetti. Both of them exchanged positions three to four times on lap five and six with Karminder crossing the finish line ahead. However, Karminder was penalised for running off the track, and he dropped down to the fourth position which helped Sailesh Bolisetti win the third place in the end.
