Uber Launches Services In Four More Cities!
US based taxi aggregator Uber is strong with its expansion spree and has launched its services in 4 more cities in India-Vadodara, Guwahati, Nashik and Thiruvananthapuram.
Including these four cities, Uber currently operates in 22 cities across India.
Utsav Agarwal, from Uber India said, "After Ahmedabad and Surat, Vadodara is the third market of Gujarat where we are launching our operations as a part of our aggressive expansion plans.
Uber is launching its cheapest service in Vadodara, UberGo, which costs just 6 rupees per kilometer.
"We had started test phase in Vadodara on Monday last to gauge the response. We are pleasantly surprised with the demand we are seeing in Vadodara."
Uber will be facing stiff competition with other online taxi aggregators in Vadodara like like Ola Cabs and Taxi For Sure, which are already big players.
