SEMA: Toyota Reaches Cowboy Nirvana
Toyota is usually a by-word for calm, sane things. On the other hand, Las Vegas is loud, brash and sometimes outlandish, something you should expect from the craziest place on the planet.
SEMA is just like the place where it is held. Most of the stuff here is extremely loud and brash and there are few things around that only seem at home at Vegas. And it would seem Toyota has gotten infected by the craziness as well as it came out with a pickup truck concept that would make a Cowboy proud.
Toyota took a standard Tundra CrewMax 4×4 1794 Edition and stretched the it by 2.2 metres. The overall length is now over 8.1 metres and the wheelbase now sits at almost 6 metres.
Into the extra space came four more doors as well as well a brown leather interior with plenty of aircraft inspired seats. Those seats wouldn't look too bad in an old western saloon either. All the extra metal and cowhide has pushed the weight to over 3.6 tons.
